Prof. V. Vasudeva Rao
Ph.D. in Experimental Physics, IIT Madras Ex-Professor(HAG), IIT Kharagpur | Visiting Professor, IIT Tirupati Prof. V. Vasudeva Rao is a renowned physicist and academician with 40 years experience at IIT Kharagpur and 2 years at IIT,Tirupati specializing in Quantum Technology,Vacuum technology, Cryogenics, Applied superconductivity, and Semiconductor systems. He has guided 10 Ph.D. and 35 M.Tech. scholars, with 100+ publications to his credit. He has led research and consultancy projects worth over ₹5 crore, supported by ISRO, BHEL, DRDL, Power Grid, Applied Materials, and Crompton Greaves. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at IIT Tirupati, he teaches Applied Electronics, Applied Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Quantum Technology. A popular NPTEL faculty, Prof. Rao is widely respected for his clarity, depth, and dedication to advancing applied physics and engineering education.
Dr. B. Srinivasa Varma
Dr. B. Srinivasa Varma is a distinguished Mechanical Engineer whose career bridges both academia and industry. He played a pivotal role in institutional development at KITS Warangal as a Faculty Member in Mechanical Engineering and went on to serve as Faculty and Principal at several engineering colleges across India, significantly contributing to student success in GATE and the enhancement of academic quality nationwide. He has established over 250 engineering laboratories, promoting interdisciplinary learning and hands-on research. Drawing from his industrial experience at Ecoboard Industries and Bajaj Ecotec, he integrated sustainable manufacturing and energy-efficient practices into academic environments. Dr. Varma also pioneered and launched a dedicated M.Tech program in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), emphasizing the seamless integration of design and production. The program features coursework in materials selection, CAD/CAM, geometric tolerancing, process planning, and concurrent engineering. This initiative positioned DFM as a structured academic discipline and continues to shape postgraduate education in manufacturability and design innovation.
Prof. K. N. Prudhvi Raju
Prof. K. N. Prudhvi Raju is a distinguished geographer and former Head of the Department of Geography at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). With expertise in geomorphology, hydrology, floodplain dynamics, groundwater management, remote sensing, and GIS, he has made significant contributions to environmental and geospatial studies. He has authored over 60 research publications, including notable work on flood risk mapping in Varanasi and vegetation analysis in the Gomati River basin using Earth observation data. A respected academic and mentor, Prof. Raju has played a key role in advancing geographic research and education in India.
